I had a smash& grab on 23 Jan & my passenger window was smashed. I lodged a claim with Dial Direct on the 24 Jan & was told that my window would be fixed and replaced on 27 Jan by WindShield Direct. I took half a day of work to wait for the repair company, they came... with a brand new windscreen and not a window! (They only deal with windscreens, not windows). After many calls to Dial Direct, being put on hold or being told that Claire Lekotwana who was dealing with my claim was not available, I was told they would get back to me and they did not until I demanded to speak to a manager. On 29th January I spoke to a manger called Ilana who was very polite & told me the matter would be resolved & another one of their suppliers Glassfit would call me. Glassfit called me & said I should call Dial Direct... why??? Spoke to Ilana again & she said she would talk to Glassfit. Today one week after my incident, Ilana is not picking up her phone, I called Glassfit myself they said they would call me back, they have not. I am spending R400 per day on cab fare to & from work, cannot get around to sort out my bank cards, passport etc. I am changing insurance companies asap!
