I have been contacted by an ABSA representative who identified herself as Nqobile Shikalala (unsure of spelling) regarding my provident fund pay-out. She double checked the account details I provided to and assured me that the pay-out will take 2 to 3 weeks. This was in the beginning of December 2013. It is now two months later and I have not heard anything since. Attempts made to reach her on the landline number she provided was to no avail. An automatic answering machine says that she is unavailable. I have left several voicemails, but received no feedback yet. I have always received good service from ABSA, and I am sure there is a reasonable explanation. I would appreciate it if someone can contact me and check on the progress.
