I need help with claiming my fathers provident fund, his name Synod Tshokolo Sengange ID 59. He worked for a security company called Diligence Security for a period of 11yrs until he passed away 2011 December.
As per normal procedure we filled in all the documents provided and requested from us and submitted all of them, 6 months later we called ABSA to inquire about the progress and we were told they haven't received the marriage certificate and my sister bank statement whereas we know for a fact they had them but we still sent them again and almost another 6 months later we inquire about the progress again we now told that the company my father worked for stopped contributing towards the fund in 2009 and they were deducting the money since then. The contact lady who was assisting me from Absa was Primrose Vezi who was helpful but for some reason her numbers are no longer working (011-702-5067) I called the company my father worked for and I was told to get the statement from ABSA for them to be able to reimburse whatever is owed to the fund.
