I was in an accident on the 20th of December 2013 (not my fault) I contacted my consultant and my claim was sent to the claims department. I was told that the wheels turn slowly at that time of the year and my car would probably be fixed in the new year. In January I was contacted and told I had to take my car to a panel beater in Paarden Eiland, I queried this as Fords website indicated Ford approved repair centers all over the Northern suburbs where I am from. I was told they are not Oakhurst approved but I could take the car for a quote to get a sense of how much the damages are. I took the car to M&L in Goodwood and then they worked on that quote but the car still had to go to Paarden Eiland. After a lot of back and forth e-mails they now want to pay me out R21 587 but the quoted damages amount to R30 000, their also charging me double excess cause according to them I a am claiming withing 6 months but I have been with Oakhurst since March 3013.

I have declined their cash offer and is pretty much at boiling point now. I am really disappointed at their level of service. Instead of helping they want to make even more of you after a traumatic experience.
