I'm a long-term client of Standard Bank (Jhb) and I have recently retired to Pinetown, It is necessary for me to-arrange and re-arrange various accounts/payments. Unlike Johannesburg there are no facilities for me to have a discussion about beneficiaries and/or my account; a) Out of Public hearing (practically public participation) and; b) where I can sit down, after having stood in a single "catch-all" queue for a stupid length of time. My complaints about this and about inefficient and tardy investment advice are already on record. John Murray
