I followed up some time ago with eBucks to find out where my 5000eB was. (Ref:1-55959909)
After a few mails up and down I was told that the account opened does not qualify for that promotion. I was then told to speak to FNB via 0860 11 22 44. The second I say the word eBucks, the agent transferred me to the eBucks department. I was advised to the mail [Email Removed] and I did so. (358906) I was then called by the same sales consultant trying to explain to me that due to me not swiping my card, I do not qualify. This was not specifically mentioned in that call as a criteria to receive the 5000eB but only that I deposit R500 within a certain amount of days. He also confirmed that my account did qualify for the promo contradicting what eBucks told me. After a lengthy argument that went around in circles with him trying to play it off that he did tell me I HAD to swipe and I then requested to speak to his supervisor, she was in a meeting he said. He then advised that the supervisor WILL call me back. I am still waiting for said call!
I want to speak to someone about this as I feel it is in breach of the CPA!
