On 26 January, 2011, i asked my broker, Kevin Campbell to effect Life Assurance on my life owned by my partner as part of a Buy and Sell arrangement.
This was done under contract no. 20888594. My partner had effected the other half of the Buy and Sell arrangement through his broker, Mr Hugo Myburgh on 22 September 2010.
At this stage this contract no. 208397824 had not been accepted. In order to ensure that the contracts were issued correctly, My broker completed an application form on the life of My partner with me as the Policy Owner and filled in Mr Myburgh's details as the servicing broker. This was done under contract no. 208691713.This case should never have been accepted as I was removed as the Policy Owner without the necessary signatures and was accepted on a policy on the life of MY PARTNER owned by himself, not as a Buy and Sell policy, YET MOMENTUM ACCEPTED THE POLICY!!!
Momentum has acknowledged that there was a problem and want a new policy to rectify but refuses to repay for the premiums received iro a policy incorrectly issued!!
