ABSA statements differ to internet - WH??

This is a case between Engen and ABSA. Problem: Everytime I use Engen or the Woolies at Engen garages, A simple transaction of R800 causes an amt of R1600 to be held against my card rendering the 2nd R800 unusable until 5-7 days AFTER correct amount has been put through by Engen. I addressed this with Engen/FNB who have investigated and advised me that ABSA is investigating. Engen had the common decency to notify me every step of the way. To date, I have heard NOTHING from ABSA who constantly points fingers at FNB/Engen. This is causing me embarrassment, frustration, money on phone calls for ABSA to release the 2nd amounts and constantly explaining the same thing over and over everytime I want an amount released. Get your act together ABSA and let me know what you doing to fix this problem!!! Gone on long enough.

Also please explain how is it possible that when I call up a statement on my CC account on the internet, it differs to that ABSA sees on their side at the same time??? An amount shows it went through on my side and yet on ABSA's side it shows it hasnt. Please explain!! How are people supposed to reconcile their statements if what they see is not correct???
