Once again I lodge my complain against SA Underwriters. After initially lodging my third party claim against SAU in November, the claim was only resolved in third week of January 2014.
The damages to my car was excessive, and SAU decided to pay me out. Firstly they deduct 30% for salvage, then another 24% for my frontal damage. Guys, if you are a SAU client, please note that if your car is knocked from the rear and you collide with the car in front of you will not be covered as, according to SAU, that is your negligence as you should be a distant away, even at a robot, even if the car that collided with you as been racing at high speed.. it is YOUR fault.
After all the above I am now told that I will only be paid within twenty one business days. WOW, how is that for efficiency. In this technological world where claims are processed within days, we have to still wait for weeks to get paid. all because of the highly effective team that works for SAU. Please be warned of this pathetic service that you are bound to get when you lodge a claim, because you will have to live with this frustration.
