This case dates to 2002 when Ms JP Tshabalala made a final payment towards her bond account (9566.82). Whoever was assisting her didn't advise her properly hence all along she thought that her bond account was closed. In 2012 a consultant by the name of Manqoba told her that if she her account and fax through a cancellation letter along with her proof of payment her account would be cancelled. Ms JP took his word and did as she was told. Late last year she got a letter about being on arrears for her bond of which didn't make any sense.
