I'm an Absa home owner and also have home owners insurance with them. I registered a claim through the call centre on 3 Jan'14 relating to a leaking geyser. I followed up on numerous times and was promised that the geyser will be fixed. To date, 22 Jan'14, no work has been completed and we still cannot use our bathroom due to their inability to deliver on their promises. So much for being the "Go to" bank in South Africa. Also, not sure why I need to pay an excess of R1000 if they can't deliver on their promises!
