I went today 18 January 2014 to open a business account and I had the worse service ever from FNB. There was only one person in Customer Relation section and I had to wait almost 2 hours to be attended to. That was not even the problem, when she finally came through, she says my CIPC (CK) document is not in the format she thinks its supposed to be and that it has to be CIPRO format. The document I went with to the bank was printed January 14 2014 and it came from CIPC offices in Pretoria.

I was so shocked as this person did not understand CIPRO is no more and CIPC is now doing company registration. She insisted and did not further want to assist.

I had to leave and could not open the business account which I needed to use to transact on Monday.
