Having a bank run out of debit cards is like the bank telling us they have no cash!!! FNB sent me an sms telling me my debit card for my smart acount has expired and I must collect a new one - so I duly go to Hyde Park only to be told sorry they have run out of stock. What!!! I hope that FNB will be delivering my new card to me at work so that I don't have to inconvenience myself by going back to the bank for nothing??? So then I want to draw cash using my ID book - go to the tellers and there is the longest que. Every Bank knows that Mondays and Saturdays are generally very busy at the Tellers counter what with business banking their money etc etc coin s mainly - obviously this message did not get through to Hyde Park. Needless to say I was not the only customer complaining to Shane... Really Hyde Park FNB -what a nasty irritating unpleasant waste of time experience
