I applied on 01/08/2014 for the chq account with OD.I got a sms at 13;00 to say it was provisionally approved. At 01082014 @ 13:46 I sent through the documents required well so i thought. Today is Monday 13/01/2014, After not hearing from ABSA i decided to give them, a call. I spoke to a Dian, who I had to over and over repeat my ID no due to a lack of listening skills, She then left me holding on the phone for a couple of minutes, after which she informed me that this guy wants my Dec payslip as well, and 3 months bank statement. Now my question is WHY WAS I NEVER asked the same day or next day for this. I had a weekend I could have gone to get it. Now I must wait another week to get to a bank, I was leaving my bank due to pathetic service and i was so impressed that ABSA approved both my cars last year that I thought wow i want to bank there, now there is no way in I will move to ABSA, sies gaggas service
