Poor customer care received!!

Traded my car, and the dealer provided me with supporting documentation stating clearly that the settlement amount has been dealt with in full. I was contacted by someone from Standard bank who rudely informed me that my account was in arrears. I informed him that this was not possible. After numerous mails to Standard bank and many frustrating calls to them, eventually just paid the amount to ensure that the issue is settled.
After all of this, was contacted by Nic - who told me he was the debt collector for Standard bank. I faxed through the proof of payment, and never heard from him again.
Now, after almost 2 months, I receive a registered document form Standard Bank INDICATING THAT I STILL OWE THE AMOUNT!!! I am not a criminal. This is terrible. The document reads " pay before judgement".
I am not happy at all, and need IMMEDIATE RESPONSE.
