I called Standard Bank to make a certain part of my bond not accessible thereby reducing the term of my bond. The person that I spoke to said that I must send a signed fax to Standard Bank in order for them to action out my request.
I faxed the document on 23/09/2013 and I have my confirmation.
I did not get any response so I sent an email to customer care (email address taken from Standard Bank website.
Nobody has responded to me as yet.
This is not the first time i had bad service from Standard Bank. When I actually applied for a bond - a consultant said that if I pay of a considerable amount - they will review the interest rate. When I paid off 37% of the bond in one year - they didn't bother reviewing the rate.
Poor service!!!
