On the 24th of Dec I transferred funds from my bank account in Dubai from HSBC Bank to FNB in SA. I do this every month for 11 months. This time even though FNB has been issued all the correct documents to prove the funds were sent to them, they still refuse to release the funds saying they have not received the instruction and know nothing of the transaction. It has already cost me in excess of R800 in phone calls going back and forth trying to get this sorted out. NOBODY comes back to me and tomorrow I must pay my hotel bill and I have no money. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! How can a bank treat their customers with such disrespect and not care about them. I WILL be taking this to the media to hopefully prevent other people from having their money "misplaced".
