Good day, I contacted Standard Bank VAF on 03 Jan 2013 and spoke to Mark. I informed him that my Alfa Romeo Guilietta have been sold and that the car is fully settled on 11 Dec 2013. To my dismay a debit order went of in Jan 2014 for an instalment. He assured me that I would receive my refund within 1-3 business days. Sadly this did not happen. Phoned again this morning and was told he never requested a refund only to close the account which was never closed. Now I have to wait another 1-3 business day for my money. I now insist on interest being paid back to me and this is non negotiable and will also now open a formal complaint with the banking Ombudsman in this regard as you are now earning interest on my money. The dealership also contacted the bank on Monday and seemingly nobody has done anything even since then. Now I have to be satisfied that R4830.29 have been from my account which does not belong to Standard Bank. I want my money to paid to be my by 09:00 on 10/01/2014 as I you have useless staff working in this division whom cannot action a clients request and get the request right the 1st time.
