I cancelled my two policies with 1life on the 07/01/2013 via email as requested by them. It was read the same day & a few days later a consultant called to say he will assist with the cancellation. BUT first he tried to push me into keeping the policy after i said NO 3 times. He confirmed telephonically they were cancelled as he said they don't send written confirmation it was cancelled. Now i know why!!! Today i checked that all my debits went off & to my surprise it was debited yet again! I called spoke to Thandeka who assured me she would get someone to call me back. Hour and a half later i am still waiting for that call! I in the mean time called again and spoke to Khumo who has the worst attitude ever. She had the odasity to tell me "SOMEONE TRIED TO CALL ME TO CANCEL" after i told her they DID in fact call and confirmed. She chipped in through the whole conversation. I don't even know why i am shocked because the level of service in SA is appalling and non existent. Send your staff on customer service training and CANCEL MY POLICY AS I REQUESTED!!! Absolutely disgusted. Now im certain i made the right choice to cancel!!!
