First National Bank
Unathourised bank overdraft, - hacked

On the 28th of December 2013, I received a message from FNB informing that I had purchased fuel of R5 000.00 from a local Engen Garage trading as Connock Motors here in Berea, East London. For all I know my account by then only had just under R1 700.00. The R5 000.00 of fuel from Connock Motors therefore overdrew my account with about R3 545.69. I never signed for an overdraft facility against my account. I constantly receive messages from FNB reminding me that my account is in arrears of R5119.78. On the 2nd of January 2014 I received a message from FNB which reads: "Ref No 20131229_110903251 we are unable to process your dispute. Please resubmit together with the required Decline slip for processing." I have since resubmitted my case and have not heard from FNB since then. I therefore stopped using the account at the moment and have been forced to open an account with another bank to help pay my debit orders and also for my salary to go through. I have also reported the case with the police and my case number is: CAS 19/1/2014.
Yours Sincerely
Fredrick. M. Govere
