I was frustrated and requested that if they could not figure out what was wrong with my card then there is no point in me having the account, we may just need to cancel the whole thing. The consultant raised her voice and insulted me in Zulu saying "nayi ingane izosiphaphela" and " kwaze kwanzima e bank". She might think I'm a kid but I am still a customer. Such incompetence and lack of respect for customers must be addressed. Too bad I was too angry to take down the names but as she was speaking to me indirectly while conversing with her colleagues I believe every single staff member who witnessed that incident should be thought how to deal with customers. Such disrespect should not be tolerated or Nedbank will lose customers. No customer wants to fill small and belittled when they walk into a branch.
