No responce received on claim logged

I submitted an insurance claim for my ipad, on 11 December i received an email with a reference number advising that i will receive an update in due course. 19 Days later i still have not received correspondence from FNB. I called the call centre a week ago and was advised that they are waiting for a quote from the supplier and they will get back to me. A week later i still have not heard from FNB.
When i called today i was advised that they are waiting for settlement amount and will get back to me.

i have been patient enough and still no one has bothered to inform me on the progress, i don't understand why a claim should take so long to process and why no one has bothered to give me progress on my claim.

What are the turn around times? Does no one take accountability?
