I have been with standard bank all of my life - 20 years, the last 3 months of banking with this bank have been to say the least. In September 200 hundred rand was taken from my credit card without my consent I notified my then banker Thuli at the east gate branch, she said she would sort it out and that was the last I heard from her. The following month the same thing happened again and I called the money was then returned to my account, yesterday 27/12/2013 the same thing happened again and this time I am told that the money can not be refunded as the merchant has already banked it. I was on hold and had to deal with rude consultants. This triggered a memory where last year my card was cloned and I was told after ther investigation, the money was never returned to me. This bank is atrocious the service is disgusting.
