The above mentioned service provider, has refused to refund me after my bank card was cloned. The people k who cloned my card, cleared out my bank account. after reporting the incident to absa bank i was informed that there would be an investigation and that the card would be stopped.
however, upon a visit to another branch, i found out that the card was not stopped at all. the matter was apparently resolved, but i was never notified about any of this.
eventually i was told that i would not be refunded as it was my own fault that this happened and that i have given my card and pin to someone who abused it??? (how can i be Howick, KZN, and then an hour later i was in Springs, Gauteng???) not the first time this has happened to me with the same bank.
i would not recommend this bank to anyone.
