No communication on status of application

I made an application for a loan and was offered a personal loan and credit card on 14 december 2013. I called on the 18th and was told to come into the branch to sign for the credit card. I signed and was told the assessment would take 2 days. It is now 27th and have called the call centre and branch with no clear explanation of what is the hold up. I was last told there was a problem with my Id, which is strange as there has never been a problem with it. What a waste of my time. Am really dissappointed as I thought african bank actually assisted peole.
