First For Women Insurance
A claim was put through on the 29-11-2013, no help

Our home has terrible leaks due to the severe storms we've been having. I was told that a supplier will have to view the building. TWO WEEKS later, someone came to my home to have a look at the damage. I was told by the supplier that its a MAINTENANCE problem. I tried calling the consultant, handling our claim, on the number he gave me, it rang continuously. I finally received a call from the consultant, I explained to him what I was told. He said that they are rejecting the claim because of the suppliers report. I'm claiming for leaks due to the rain which is unforeseen. Because the ceiling is leaking so badly, our electricity is giving us a problem. I CLEARLY understand that maintaining a home is our responsibility. If our home is not being maintained, it would be falling apart & I'll be claiming for alot of damages. A claim was put through last year November for the same problem, which they came out to fix. We were NEVER told that the leaks were due a maintenance problem, the supplier (sent by First for women) said to me that as long as we are experiencing rain like this, EVERY HOUSE WILL have a problem. We pay them on time without dispute, so why is it a problem to fix it?
