Inconvenience caused by the insurance company

There's a debit order for my cellphone insurance that goes out each and every month no payments missed whatsoever. Monday 16th December in the evening i got mugged, not only have i suffered that trauma i have to deal with the insurance that's taking its on sweet time in getting me my device, yet in their policy they state within 24hrs you would have received your new device, that has passed already. and they so incompetent that i had to call to find out if its been approved, etc. They didn't call MTN or me the insurance holder about it. So clearly had i not called no one wouldve gotten back to me about my claim. Now when it comes to processing the claim its a mission, my S3 mini in white is not available, according to the policy documents i had received my mobile device value is at R4325 but they are mentioning a less value. Told them if the device is not available im willing to pay up the difference, they dont want. They talking about terms and conditions etc, that are not available in the documentation i had received when i took out the insurance. So what am i to do, as im living cape town early hours of the morning tomorrow for Christmas holidays. Im so disappointed and upset.
