On Saturday 7 December my husband and I did an application at African Bank Avonwood branch. On Monday 9 December we were informed that his finger prints were unclear, he went to the branch for biometrics scanning again. On Friday 13 December we started enquiring why we haven't heard anything regarding our application as its been almost a week. We both called the following numbers: 0115647064, 0112569144, 0112569000, 0112569562. On most of these numbers we received the following automated voicemail: " AS YOU HAVEN'T ENTERED A BRANCH CODE YOUR CALL HAS BEEN TERMINATED". Much later in the afternoon I eventually go through to a Gugulethu on the number: 0112569562, she referred me to call sales and that they would be able to assist.. I asked her for her surname, she reckons she's not comfortable giving me her surname. Unfortunately when I do have a telephonic enquiry like this I take notes and names of the person I dealt with. On Tuesday 17 December 2013, Vivian Solomons from Avonwood branch informed me that the application was declined due to incomplete supporting documents. Have also emailed and called [Email Removed] no reply
