I am trying to sort my late mother's accounts out with no joy!

There are three investments under the Nedbank banner that my late mother had. The two smaller ones were a Nedterm and an Optimimplus. Thankfully a different department are handling the Nedbank Money Market Investment!

Executor of the estate is my brother who lives in Australia. Due to time differences, he asked me in writing to contact all institutions involved to obtain necessary forms. I then send them onto him and he completes them and sends back along with any documents requested.

Nedbank Table View say that the executor must PERSONALLY COME IN to the branch to ask how to wrap up these two small investments. He must get on a plane in Brisbane and fly to Cape Town to ASK how to claim/withdraw these two tiny investments of his late mother?!?

THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I am so appalled by this right now. This information is all I have managed to get out of the enquiries lady who will not put me through to anyone who actually handles investments after I called twice and was promised someone would get back to me TWICE

I would like someone with a REALISTIC & PRACTICAL solution to my problem to contact me please!
