Our claim on write off of our vehicle was not settle in full. On 5 December I spoke to Galy Mahlangu to enquire why the difference was not settled. She could not assist and requested that I send the details to her by e-mail. Her manager Maureen called me to advise that the shortfall relates to the 'extras'. On requesting details of the 'extras', she advised that she does not know what it is, but that it was assumed that it relates to non-specified vehicle accessories. I advised her that this is not the case and advised her what I believe is included in the 'extras'. She advised that Data Dot and Smash and Grab should be specified. I disagreed and asked her whether Data Dot can be from your vehicle to which she replied that it can be. I requested her to send me in writing details of the shortfall that was not settled and to give reasons therefore. On 6 December I have had no reply and send another e-mail to Galy Mahlangu to advise that I requested details of the short payment from Maureen with reasons for the non-payment. Since then I have been trying to get hold of Galy and Maureen with no success. Surely it cannot be that difficult to put their decision in writing.
