After MONTHS of fighting with Standard Bank, speaking to various agents, unsuccessfully, I was fortunate enough to be put through to team leader Zaragh Khan. This gentleman handled my infuriated state with absolute calmness and even managed to get me to calm down somewhat.
After speaking to no less than 4 agents who allegedly "specialise" in solving these kinds of problems, this man was the only one who directed me to where I need to go and what I need to do in order to actually resolve the issue.
I am absolutely disgusted with Standard Bank, and will never bank with them again, but this one man has made an absolute horror of a situation into something I can actually bear. You, sir, are a fantastic asset to a bank that has slipped to a terrible standing.
