Staff parties more important than clients

Applied for vehicle finance. After being offered an initial rate of around 15%, which I was disgusted with, I was then offered 8.8% so decided to proceed. I was asked for all my info to proceed which I sent in to Colleen, from that point on I have had no contact from STD bank - I have had to call them. It got to the point where I was dealing with Imraan and he told me the hold up is with verification. The number that they have found in the "PHONE BOOK" just rings and rings so they cannot verify my employment at SERVEST, an international company with website that will supply even our CEO's number. I called on Friday to see what was going on and was told that Imraan was at a staff party along with his manager, I could speak to the call centre agents manager so after about a minute on hold I hung up. I e-mailed Colleen and Imraan today at about 2pm and have had no response (16H20) not even acknowledgement of the e-mail. Why is this such a difficult process in this day and age??
