Starts of with me phoning SA warranties one week before I that take my car in for a service 26/11/2013, Enquiring about my policy, making sure everything is well and that it still exists.
The lady that help me was Zama, very friendly. Send me all the documentation.
(No mention of a lapsed or expired policy) Then I take my car in on the 3th dec 2013, give the mechanic all the info to claim off the policy. Friday the 6th the mechanic let me know they sent in a claim to sa warranties and they decline the claim as the policy doesn't exit, I phone sa warranties, Elaine helps me and said its strange the policy has expired, I said well Zama did tell me that. We also didn't get any proof that the policy expired in feb 2013. no sms and no correspondence. I wouldnt have taken the car in if I knew that Elaine said this is going to be a huge complaint, will get her manager to phone me brent or something, I still have not heard from him. I have phone today to enquire about what they want to do, or at leased help me, the customer consultant Elaine put me through to didn't have a clue what I was talking about, i am not happy not happy at all. i want a solution today still, i need my car back.
