My Insurance is covered with Santam and my Broker is Snyman vd Vyver.
On Tuesday 3/12/2013 I damaged my sunglasses and gave my broker a call. Lesley told me of a sunglass shop that they make use of and ask me to take it to them to see if they can repair it. On Friday 6/12/2013 I went to the shop and they informed me that it is beyond repair and they suggest I replace it.
Being on the road all the time I phoned my broker SVDV to see if I can buy the sunglasses cash and when they finalised the claim they can just refund me.
At that moment Leslie was out and instead of taking a message and saying she would call back Hestie took the call.
I explained to her were I was and what I wanted to do.
Hestie then said that she can give the shop a go ahead within 15min and I only need to pay the excess. It took them 10 min to get a go ahead, the shop manager even said that, that was the quickest claim he has ever had because he had to get the go ahead from HQ Joburg.
Thank you Hestie and SVDV Brokers for going that extra mile. 10/10 for all of you and a Merry Xmas and a Happy Newyea
