I pay over R2500 per month for my coverage. I have never made a claim. The insurance was meant to cover everything at my shop. When a client broke the toilet bowl at the shop I was told it was "not covered". In my contract with the landlord it states that I am responsible for sanitary. When I took out the insurance I stated I wanted to be covered for everything.
It will be Santam's loss in the end as I am cancelling my insurance as I cannot cannot risk them "not covering" something that I can't afford to replace.
