How was I supposed to know

I took out insurance with this bunch of. When I applied for insurance, I was asked what car I drive and I informed the agent I spoke to that I drove a Ford Bantam bakkie. That is all this incompetent fool asked me. Now my canopy is broken and I called in to lay a claim. I was then told that it is not covered. I asked why not because the person I spoke to did not ask me whether the vehicle had a canopy, mags or any other accessory. How was I supposed to know that I had to tell someone, whom I assumed knew how to do his job, that my car has an accessory. Now I am being told that they are searching for call recordings for that initial call, this is over 3 weeks ago. I am taking this to the ombudsman. Miway should be closed down for breach of contract. I will not stop until I have a new canopy. Ombudsman, then media then who knows? But I will keep going. They are looking for an excuse to get out of it, well they wont.
