After just over a year decided to drive my Corsa Utility bakkie with a BEEKMAN Canopy to Cape Town for the 1st time from JHB, Few Km before Bloemfontein the Canopy fell off on the N1 freeway, Lukily no one or no other cars where hurt. Morne'(Bloem Branch) used a rope to tighten the canopy on the bakkie. We drove at 80Km/hr over 1000Km to Cpt in a broken window which was (we were going on an important meeting couldnt turn back). Most of our luggage were wet and we were with our 2 and 3 year old kids. Wynand (Bellville Cpt) went an extra mile by keeping some of our wet luggage and to fix the broken canopy so we can drive back home (JHB) mean time manufacturing a new one for free as a replacement. This shouldn't have happened since this canopies are of good quality. We had damaged clothes, paid for hotel which we didnt use for the night we were still driving to cpt bcos we couldnt drive over 80km/hr BUT Thank you WYNAND for ur excellent customer relations he took this issue professionally, He just confirmed I will get the new canopy in 2 to 3 weeks time. Had a miserable weekend but at least The canopy issue is resolved, Thank you BEEKMAN Cape Town you were kind to us and the kids, Mary.
