My wife logged a claim against the back boundary wall of our house having blown over in the storms that swept through the Westrand of JHB last week - this was on Monday 02-12-2013. Till today when I called in and cancelled the claim as I have managed with my neighbour to get the claim sorted through his Santam coverage (1 call to them btw... they took care of everything else, I simply needed to submit a few quotes) I had not received a single call, e-mail, sms with an update of where the assessors are or what's happening. Additionally when calling you twice now, I was told that there was a claims agent who'd call me back without a single reply ever coming back.
Sure your premiums are very low, but so it would appear is your level of service... and quite frankly its worth paying more if you get service when you need it.
