I opened my Capitec account and wanted to use their service of buying airtime when you don't have airtime by dialing *130*3279# and the service told me that I don't have sufficient funds to perform this service. I phoned the bank and explained but the response I got was a very rude response by one of the call centre attandance telling me that it is my network that is not supporting the service and that there is nothing she can help me with and that I must go back to my service provider to tell them of my problem. However, when I use the same service provide to buy airtime on other banks which supports the no airtime service, I am able to buy it. I thought this was a good bank, but being unable to resolve such a simple matter shows how incompetent of a bank it.
