I received a phone call on Sunday the 1st December in the morning from Nedbank division. The reason for the call was to inform me that there was a transaction taking place on my Amex Card from a hotel in New Zealand. I confirmed that I knew about it since my son was in New Zealand and I gave authorization to the hotel to deduct payment. The authorisation was that the hotel can deduct per day of my son staying in the hotel, but had the bank not phoned me I would not have been aware that the hotel was deducting more than the balance I had. Thank you Nedbank for your good job and my problem was solved.
