I called the call center to report a fault with my electricity at home and I was told that the first person that responded did not log the call. The 2nd time I called I was told that the electrician will be at my place in about an hour or 45 minutes. The third time I call I was told to find my own electrician and that I will be reimbursed within 10 days, I don't have money to pay for insurance and not get the service. the 4th time I called I was told that they were still looking for an electrician after 2 hours and the agent was rude and hung up the phone while I was trying to inform her about the urgency of my logging a request. It is now more close to four hours and still no help from them not even a courtesy update from them.
Right now I am writing this report from my neighbour's house.
I will never recommend Discovery insurance to anyone.
They promise excellent service when they sign you up on to realize it's a bunch of.
I am highly disappointed and I regret being na? ve when I was advised not to take this insurance. I am paying very high premiums for an awful service. Other insurance companies respond in time for any call outs.
