I called Discovery Invest on the 27/28 November and was lucky enough to have Ashley answer. Problem 1: not particularly forthcoming. I asked about Discovery's Guaranteed Income Plan, wanting to know how the guarantee works and what return I would qualify for. The only answer I got from this person was "you need to speak to a financial advisor". Okay wait... It's your product and you can't tell me what return I should expect and its supposedly "guaranteed"? But you also can't tell me WHY I need a financial advisor? I don't want 1 as I fully understand what I'm seeking. So I must pay an advisor advice fees before I can know what this product will do for me i.e.: before I know whether or not I even want this particular product. Thanks for zero help Ashley.
Then I ask about legislation in the brochures and get told that the marketing team must help with that. Knowing I'm wasting my time with this person I'm happy to be transferred to absolutely anyone else. But lo and behold there is nobody available in the marketing division and I was forced to leave a msg. The rest is history. Building a reputation with good (med aid) services and killing it with poor employment decisions. good jo
