I purchased a vehicle on 16 June 2012, although I was not happy with most of the things on the contract a dealer kept on insisting that I shoud be happy I was getting a "good deal". On 27 July 2012 while travelling to Klerksdorp I just saw smoke coming from the bonnet. The vehicle was towed to Daly Auto (Potchefstroom) and I was informed by the workshop manager that the vehicle had overheated and that they would not be claiming from warranty as the parts on the vehicle (radiator hose) were not genuine parts. Well, I contacted the dealer but he was very rude tome. I thought I should involved Wesbank since they were financing the car, and this was Mr Pieter Van Zyl's responce: "We cannot force then to fix this but you are more than welcome to phone bank ombudsman or contact a lawyer."I contacted the customer care about my dissatisfaction and got a reply (03/09/2012) that they would respond within 3 days. On 09/10/2012 I sent another email to customer care and was asked to forward my acc. no. which I did but to date, I have not heard anything from them.
