I have a mango air ticket for Jhb to Cape Town that I purchased some time ago and received a discount by using my Momentum Mulitply membership. Due to the tragic death of my brother in law recently I wanted to give the ticket to my nephew so he could go to Cape Town to visit family he has not seen for a long time. Tried to do the name change on Mango and was blocked because ticket was issued under Multiply scheme. No problem - called Mango, explained the problem, they said happy to change but authorisation has to come from Multiply. Called Multiply - lady in call centre very very nice and understanding. Explained again and also stated clearly that I would pay in the difference for non Mulitply member now using the ticket. She requested email to send to her superiors. Sent - reply - NO! How unreasonable! I have said I will pay in the discount difference, no one loses and they gain a loyal customer! Now we have ticket we can not use, extra R4k for new ticket and lost a customer. Disgusted!
