[Email Removed] Not Responding

[Email Removed] are supposed to have sent me a letter to prove I don't have an 10-month overdue credit card. My card was closed and paid in full - But somehow ABSA failed to clear the records, as when I'm applying for vehicle finance, ABSA is returning to say that I have outstanding debt with them.

The branch said that I should phone collection and request a mail that I can use as proof... I can't get that mail from: [Email Removed] either they just don't get the collection departments instructions, or they don't care about sending anything. And Now I wait...
They say 4-5 Days for a response, I started asking the 1st of NOV 2013
