I continually receive letters in the post that i can apply for a Sanlam loan, did this friday 10th Jan 2014, i was asked to send salary slips etc. told person i am a small business owner and all my income is paid into my business account, i was asked if i am the sole owner which i am and requested i send 3 months bank statements and a copy of my ID, i emailed all requested documents on monday 13th Jan 2014, tuesday they requested i resend my ID as it was too dark, i did this, then they said it was too light, so i rescanned and resent it, sunday 19th Jan they phoned me requesting detailed bank statements which i duly sent, monday afternoon they phoned me to say they cannot use my business accounts details, Tuesday i received an sms to contact Sanlam to finalise my loan and to see how much i qualify for, on phoning the person i spoke to said my loan application was still being processed and had no knowledge as to why i received that sms, totally frustrated and will apply elsewhere for loan
