On 11 Nov we had a hail storm and I reported the claim to ABSA insurance (0860100876) on 12 Nov. After the promised call back within 48 hours I started to phone the clailms call centre (0860302011). To date I have tried 5 times with holding-on more than 30 minutes each time with nobody picking up the phone.
On 15 Nov I have phoned the 0860100876 number again and asked them to help. They said they will go the the claims department and ask them to phone me.
On 21Nov I phoned the ABSA Private Bank Assist line and asked the operator to please help and assist. He said he will try and get back to me with info.
To date I have had zero contact back from ABSA.
My Claim have three items: Roof, Skylight and Gutters. The roof I fixed myself since the NO SERVICE from ABSA. The Gutters I had a contractor from ABSA to come and look at.
The major problem is that I have holes in my Skylight in my kitchen which needs urgent attention and has not been dealt with. I have tried to inform ABSA that the skylight is perspex. They did ask PG Glass to look at it but PG Glass only do glass. If a big rain storm hits my kitchen will be gone.
I am really disappointed in ABSA and Private Bank
