FNB - how can we NOT help you

We have been battling for more than a month to obtain a bond clearance certificate from FNB on a bond settled in full in 2008 in order to finalise a propoerty sale transaction. You can only get to speak to call centre staff with team leaders that are none the wizer. We have been sent from pillar to post - with the typical response that the account number does not appear on their system. NOBODY at FNB seems to be in any hurry in tracking down the details. FNB are running flashy adverts on every radio station every 5 minutes - do not believe any of this. Their systems and service is appalling!!!
