My 78 yrs old Mom's helper of 30 yrs absconded in Oct due to family problems, prior to leaving she managed to get access (took keys) and various tools & items belonging to my dad who passed away 2 yrs ago, as well as clothes out the house & goods out the outside room prior to her silent exit.
The incident was reported to Virseker along with the police case number, Virseker asked us to get quotes on replacement items, why? Why do they not just tell you when you lodge the claim, are these people competent at their job? Why not say " sorry you are not covered " why send a client, in this case an elderly person around to get the quotes & she is not well (had 3 heart attacks this past Dec) I was at work at the time, THAT IS SICK. Then a month later, why a month? We get told according to the Terms & Conditions of the policy "of course a loophole" we are not covered as there was no forced entry, now maybe I am just stupid but " is "' and that is why you have insurance, also we of course only received a copy of these T & C yesterday for the first time, I was sent an email assuring a call by 5. Guess what? Nothing. I Hope management will be notified and correct this
