Some customers are more important than others

Open a savings account on FNB website as it apparently is more convenient as the will deliver your card and pick up the documents. Received an e-mail from FNB with my account nr, letting me know which documents I must get ready for the courier. AND IN THE MEANTIME I can transfer the minimum amount required to activate the account so long. So that is what I tried, however it kept on giving an error. So I phone and ask and I am told that there is a hold until the courier collects the documents before the account gets activated. I ask him then why did I receive an e-mail stating otherwise? Hie answer "BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE CAN AND OTHERS NOT". It is. Now almost 5 working days later and the courier still hasn't phoned me. I contact a branch to make an appointment as I can not wait, " don't worry we are not busy". And again to the contradictory I am waiting while my kids are waiting for me. Not so convenient after all. When you apply make sure you are part of the some and not the other people.
